Concerts
Prepare to be captivated by our concert series, showcasing some of the finest talents in local and national Irish traditional music. Staged at the Talbot Hotel's Slaney Suite, they offer a diverse and unforgettable experience from the soulful tones of uilleann pipes to the rich sound of mouth organs and melodeons. Join us over the weekend to experience the excellence of Tulua (Friday Jan. 30th 9 p.m.), the brilliance of 3 on the Bund (Sunday Feb. 1st. 9 p.m.), our Celebration of Wexford Piping concert (Monday Feb 2nd 1 p.m.) and the unique reedy sound of The Tin Sandwich Band (Monday Feb. 2nd 7 p.m.)

Festival Club
We are delighted to partner with Crown Quarter to offer two unforgettable nights over the WexTrad weekend in their fantastic club venue, Crown Live. A cornerstone of all tradfests, the late-night Festival Club brings high-energy trad performances to Wexford . Prepare to dance away until the wee hours to our live bands - The Rising (pictured left) on Saturday 31st and pop-trad band Electrad (following their special appearance on the O'Connell Street Stage at TradFest, Dublin) on Sunday February 1st - both followed by a Trisco - a popular feature of traditional festival weekends all over Ireland. Our Trisco DJ is one of the very best - enjoy Gerry's_Trisco!

Wexford Credit Union Árdán na Sláine
The heart of WexTrad beats at our Festival Stage - Árdán na Sláine - where music groups from all over Wexford come together to share their passion for traditional music. Building on the success of the outdoor event at the 2025 Fleadh (pictured left), this indoor version will offer six hours of non-stop performances. A completely free family event, taking place on Saturday 31st January, the Indoor Árdán na Sláine Festival Stage at the Talbot Hotel Slaney Suite function room is the perfect place to soak up the essence of WexTrad - a platform for Wexford's rich culture to shine.

Mummers Ball
Step back in time and join us for the Mummers Ball, a night rooted in traditional Wexford end-of-winter revelry. A truly unique local heritage event, that embodies the spirit of WexTrad - taking our special local culture and offering it to all. Join us in the Talbot Hotel on the opening Thursday night, January 29th at 9 p.m. to experience the clash of the sword sticks tapping to rousing tunes and to hear the Mummer's sets perform their favourite rendition - be it a song, a recitation or a few solo dance steps. Why not join in the fun yourself by dancing to the house band playing for an old-time Irish céilí.
