Join our other local Arts providers for a range of associated events that take place around Wexford Town over the St. Brigid's Bank Holiday Weekend in parallel with the inaugural WexTrad Weekend

Wexford Arts Centre
Wexford Arts Centre are curating a series of associated events over the St. Brigid's Day Bank Holiday weekend.
On Friday evening, they are presenting the play 'Lisdoon Nirvana' - a revisiting of the 80's era of the legendary Lisdoonvarna Folk Festival.
On Saturday evening, the emerging Irish comedian, Norma Sheehan presents her comedy show, 'Wine o'clock'
On Sunday afternoon at 2.30 p.m., in partnership with WexTrad Weekend and with the support of The Thomas Moore Tavern, they present a fabulous traditional concert featuring The Lane to the Glen - Oisín Mac Diarmada, Daithi Gormley, Elaine Reilly and Samantha Harvey.

Crown Live
We are delighted to partner with Crown Quarter to offer two unforgettable nights over the WexTrad weekend in their fantastic club venue, Crown Live. A cornerstone of all tradfests, the late-night Festival Club brings high-energy performances to Wexford . Prepare to dance away until the wee hours to our live bands - The Rising on Saturday 31st from 11 p.m. and pop-trad band Electrad on Sunday February 1st from 11 p.m. Both shows followed by a Trisco - a popular feature of traditional festival weekends all over Ireland.

National Opera House
The National Opera House are hosting two concerts over the bank holiday weekend that happily coincide with the inaugural WexTrad Weekend!
On Friday evening, the enormously popular group, The Tumbling Paddies take to the iconic stage.
On Saturday evening, the renowned Misneach Orchestra will perform. The Misneach Orchestra - a fabulous 40+ orchestra of some of the finest traditional musicians in the country - will be joined by special guests , Fergal Scahill and Ryan Molloy. This promises to be an amazing night in this special venue.

Eclectic Avenue
Eclectic Avenue will re-open on the St. Brigid's weekend and will feature Youth Trad and Folk Busking kindly supported by Wexford Credit Union in association with WexTrad Weekend.
